Learners will acquire the knowledge and skills to be a Risk Management Champion for the organisation in reducing risks at source by managing the risk management process at workplace and for recognition of bizSAFE level 2 by Workplace Safety and Health Council.
It involves developing a practical risk management implementation plan for the organisation which identify specific actions to be taken, by whom and time for their completion. It also entails formation of risk management team, risk assessment, controlling and monitoring the risks, communicating these risks to all persons involved and in compliance with RM Code of Practice.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Explain a standard approach to hazard/risk identification.
- Estimate the risk levels and assist in the ranking, evaluating and controlling of the risks.
- Decide whether the risk can be tolerated, or what level of action is required to treat the risk.
- Monitor and review existing risk, changed risks and the effectiveness of associated risk control measures.
- Develop your company specific RM implementation plan.
Who Should Attend?
This course is for personnel at any level and in any sector, who needs an understanding of managing risks such as Project Managers, Construction Managers, Safety Managers, Safety Officers, Contractors, Developers, Engineers, Supervisors, Safety Personnel, Factory Managers, Warehouse Managers, Office Managers and Supervisors.
Assessment and Certification
Learners must achieve at least 75% of attendance to be eligible for the test at the end of the course. Those who pass the written test and class assignment will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
1. Skills Development Fund (SDF) Training Grant – Up to 70% subsidy (eligibility criteria apply). Absentee Payroll (AP) approved.
*Final grant amount subject to SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (SSG) approval.
Eligibility: The general eligibility criteria are listed as follows:
- Companies are registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Supportable cost components (such as Course fees) are fully sponsored by companies
- Trainees are employees who are either Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR) of Singapore
- Trainees have achieved at least 75% attendance and have sat for all examinations if the course leads to certification
NETT Fee payment. Company will pay KBAT the unfunded portion of the course fee. The training grant application submitted by the company is first routed to the training organisation for endorsement, before routing to SSG. Training organisation is responsible to submit the claim to SSG upon course completion. Upon approval of the claim, the course fee funding will be disbursed to the training organisation and Absentee Payroll funding, if applicable, will be disbursed to the company.
2. SkillsFuture Credit. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. 3. PSEA (Post-Secondary Education Account). All Singaporeans aged 30 and below can use their PSEA from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Click here for more information.

Additional Information
With the launch of TPGateway on 12 October 2020, WSQ Code (i.e. MF-COM-402E-1) and Competency Unit (i.e. Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan aka BizSafe Level 2) have been mapped to the new Technical Skills and Competencies (TSC) Code (i.e. WPH-WSH-4075-1.1) and TSC Title (i.e. Workplace Safety and Health Control Measures) under the Skills Framework for Workplace Safety and health effective from 12 October 2020.
