
About This Course
The course will be conducted at our Hyperbaric Unit training centre using our certified twin-lock Deck Decompression Chamber (DDC). The course aims to provide the operators / diving personnel with the appropriate training to operate all compressed air deck diving decompression chambers as well as to provide them the certification upon course completion.

The course will be conducted in accordance with the syllabus and standards required by the Workplace Safety & Health Guidelines for Inland/Inshore commercial diving and in accordance with IMCA D022 Guidance for Diving Supervisors.
Course Benefits

Entry Requirements
5-day Course Entry Requirements
This course is open for attendees who have not completed a formal diver training / ALST or other recognised course, or has out of date certification who require Chamber Operators training and certification.
3-day Course Entry Requirements:
All attendees must have completed a formal diver training / ALST or other recognised course with in date certification and have an understanding of diving physics, diving physiology and basic physics calculations.
All potential delegates will be requested to submit their CV and relevant certification for review and assessment for suitability for the course applied for.
Assessment and Certification
There will be a written examination and ongoing / final practical assessment. Delegates who have successfully completed and passed the examination and assessment will be awarded with KBA Training competency certificate.

Course Fees

Full Time
Full Time training will be delivered face to face over a 3-days period. Classroom preparation work and DDC practical exercises from 0900 hours to 1700 hours.
