D-MAS HyperSat: Level 1

About this course

The D-MAS HyperSat Level 1 course introduces the operational foundations of the DanMedical HyperSat telemedicine system used in diving and hyperbaric environments.

This course focuses on system readiness, hardware and software familiarisation, and the creation of PDF patient reports.

It provides participants with the essential knowledge required to prepare and navigate the D-MAS HyperSat system in operational settings.

Level 1 is designed as a standalone qualification and also serves as the mandatory foundation for progression to Level 2.

The training supports organisations operating in diving, hyperbaric, offshore, and remote medical environments where structured medical data capture and reporting are required.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

To ensure the delegate is fully aware of the operational requirements and foundational system functions of the D-MAS HyperSat system, such as:

  • IT security requirements and system readiness procedures
    • Data confidentiality, protection and contamination control considerations
    • Identification of core D-MAS HyperSat hardware components
    • Understanding the function of sensors, monitoring devices and system interfaces
    • Navigation of the D-MAS HyperSat software interface
    • Recognition of patient data entry fields and monitoring displays
    • Identification of system status indicators and device connectivity notifications
    • Generation of structured PDF patient reports
    • Understanding how reports support documentation and referral processes
    • Recognition of when system or operational issues require escalation to authorised personnel

This course provides a structured overview of the foundational setup and operational awareness required for safe and effective use of the D-MAS HyperSat system in diving, hyperbaric, and remote medical environments.

The training is structured in accordance with the D-MAS HyperSat system operational framework and reflects best practice in telemedicine-supported monitoring and documentation workflows.
